Greetings!

I am currently a second year at UC Davis School of Law where I am studying intellectual property with a focus on patents.

I am proud to announce that I will be a summer associate at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP in Palo Alto, CA during 2009.

On Dec. 22, 2008, I was officially registered to practice before the United State Patent and Trademark Office. This certification allows me to prosecute patents with the USPTO. More information can be found here. My registration number is 63690.

On  March 21, I was part of the two person team that represented UC Davis School of Law in the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition in the Palo Alto. In the written competition, we succeeding in winning Best Appellant Brief and Best Appellee Brief. In the Oral Argument round, we advanced to the Semi-finals. More information can be found about the competition can be found here.

During the 2008 summer, I served as a research assistant to Professor Robert Hillman. Information about his academic interests can be found here

I completed my undergraduate work at Emory University in Atlanta, GA in May 2007. I graduated Emory with high honors in Physics.

A PDF of the honors thesis I wrote at Emory under Dr. Eric R. Weeks entitled Flow Fields Caused by Local Perturbations of Colloidal Glasses can be found on the right column of this site. Please see the abstract for a brief technical overview of my project and method. The first chapter of the thesis is a less technical explanation of my research.
